Sometimes we make cabinets to match existing custom made bars.  It is important aspect to match cabinets with existing finishes such as base on the floor, craw molding, pergo or hard wood floor around bar area

Stock cabinets are the least expensive. They are manufactured in width increments of 3" and height increments of 6." Stock cabinets are available in a variety of door styles, shades, materials and textures.

Custom Cabinets allows you to get whatever you desire. Cabinets can be made to order in any material, size, shape and color you choose. The main reason to upgrade to custom cabinetry is to get a special style or finish.

There are number of different styles of cabinets beside the ones that were presented to you to choose from such as Semi Stock, Framed, Frameless, European, Wall, Glass, Tall  and base cabinets.

The most efficient and less expensive are stock cabinets which are sold in home improvements retailers. Those cabinets are simple, and you don’t have much space for improvement. Therefore, you can not compare stock cabinets to custom cabinets where you can add different components to your finish such as crown moulding, base, cabinets lighting or wine rock

Countertops

Another important component of the cabinets are countertops. Countertops add uniqueness and style to your basement bar or kitchen. Now days, there is large selection of countertops and it’s important to choose one that suits both your taste and your lifestyle. ETI Remodeling recommends tiled countertops, which are very easy to install in a basement bar project. Tiled Countertops are ceramic, stone or marble. Tiled countertops are especially popular on bars in basements. Tiles are sharp looking, low maintenance at an affordable price.

However, basements have different wall shapes, and installing custom, corian or granite countertops are harder to manage. These countertops are much more expensive

Granite Countertops are a beautiful and popular choice, granite is the best option if you prefer a natural stone countertop.

Corian Countertops are a completely manmade product. There are many different brands available with a large variety of colors. The big advantage of solid surface is that it can be repaired if it scratches or burns.

Laminate Countertops are less expensive, but it does not last as long and you have to replace it every few years.  New finishes and edges have made laminate countertops much more attractive than in years past. Comprised of a plywood base covered with a high- pressured laminate, it is less expensive than other materials.
