1. How long have you been in business
ETI Remodeling Inc. has been in business since 1999.
2. Are you insured?
Yes. We are fully covered under Workers Compensation Insurance and General Liability.
3. Who will be performing the work; will it be primarily ETI  employees or will you be using subs?
ETI Remodeling uses it`s employees to perform all demolition, framing, electric , insulation and HVAC as well as job supervision, rough and finish carpentry, plumbing and painting. Typically we only sub-contract drywall.
4. If we decide to sign-on with your company how soon would you be able to start our project?
We can work most projects into our schedule in a timely manner. Some projects such as kitchens are based on cabinet delivery dates that may take up to 4 weeks. The 1st available start time will be discussed with the customer upon signing of the contract
5. What are your normal hours of operation?
Our normal work day is 7:00 to 5:00
6. How long will our project last
We will develop a time line from beginning to end that describes each phase of your project. This enables you to anticipate each stage of the job as it occurs. We will review this on a regular basis.
7. What should you expect to pay for the finished project?
It all depends for example; prices can range from $20 - $100 per square foot of finished basement space. On average, a typical basement can be finished around $23-$38 per square foot. If you have out of the ordinary or custom features that you want to add, then the price can go higher.
8. You’ve got your estimates, now what?

After you have collected your estimates to compare, stop and think about each experience before you consider price. Consider things such as;

Was the contractor on time and professional in the first encounter?
Did he listen to me and answer my questions completely?
If not, did he promise to get my question answered in a timely manner?
Would I be comfortable having this contractor in my house?
Most importantly, can I trust them?

After considering those items, and possibly a few more, what about price? Are the estimates similar in pricing? If not, are the estimates all giving you the same finished product? You will probably have several different price estimates. Look at each one closely to make sure they have included everything you asked for. Once complete, make a decision based upon the old adage about “You get what you pay for.” Don’t always pick the cheapest estimate. Remember, you are adding space and value to your home that you want to be proud of when the project is complete. Also, your house was probably built by a company that charged at least $70 per square foot, so keep that in mind when you think that you can get your basement finished for under $18 per square foot.
9. What if we want to make changes after we have signed a contract?
Our proposals are very detailed, showing step-by-step procedure that we will use to reflect the final cost of the project. The proposal will also list the exact products that are to be used. This way you know exactly what we are going to do and how much it is going to cost and we know exactly what we are expected to do. Obviously, things can change or be accidentally left out. In this case we will write a change order specifying the change to be made to the Proposal and how much it will cost. The change order must be signed prior to the beginning of the work involved and payment is expected when the change order is executed.
10. Do you provide a guarantee or warranty?
Our craftsmanship has a full warranty for one year. This means anything from drywall cracks to squeaky hinges. We want you to be happy with our work and we know that sometimes things happen - and we don't want those "things" to make you think of us in a poor light. We want you to enjoy your project.
