Water condensation – When air comes in contact with any cold surface, any moisture in the air is rapidly cooled which causes it to condensate. Water seepage – Moisture is getting inside your basement from the outside through cracks, poorly insulated windows or seeping through concrete walls. Properly fixing cracks, insulating windows and waterproofing foundation walls will keep your basement dry.
